We seek an experienced and committed Responsible Individual (RI) to provide strategic leadership and oversight across our children’s residential homes. This full-time, office- and site-based role requires attendance at our Aylesbury Head Office and regular visits to homes in surrounding locations.
Pay Rates: £65K – £75k per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (on-site only, no remote work)
As the RI, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our homes deliver safe, high-quality care aligned with Ofsted regulations and promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the effective management and performance of multiple children’s homes.
- Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Support and challenge Registered Managers to maintain and improve standards of care and safeguarding.
- Carry out regular visits, audits, and monitoring of services.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – must be held.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a senior role within children’s residential services.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks, safeguarding, and childcare legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and quality assurance skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between homes.
- Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS check for children.
- Ability to provide 5 years of employment references.
